WHO WE ARE

Pioneers for sustainability and green energy

OUR HISTORY

Energyco was born in 2008 in Salerno and operates with passion and professionalism in the sector of renewable energy and eco-sustainable constructions. The great attention to quality, in terms of optimization of production and organizational processes and the constant investments in lifelong learning schemes and professional training, allows the company to continuously improve skills and know-how, which constitute the founding values of our work.

OUR VISION

EnergyCo dreams of a world where every building is a sustainable work of art, communities where energy is clean, houses are green and the environment is respected. Our vision is to become a leader in the renewable energy industry, significantly contributing to the transition towards a sustainable energy future for all.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy systems, focusing on the construction of large renewable energy plants and large-scale energy efficiency processes. We are committed in designing, developing and managing innovative energy projects in order to maximize the use of renewable resources, while reducing energy consumption through the use of cutting-edge technologies.

Wind power

In the recent years, photovoltaic has become of great interest, being one of the most valuable alternatives to fossil fuels.

TODAY, THE USE OF CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGIES ALLOW PHOTOVOLTAIC PARKS TO BE INSTALLED ON THE MOST DIVERSE TERRAINS AND TO MAINTAIN HIGHEST LEVELS OF EFFICIENCY
But how does a photovoltaic system work?

Solar energy is transformed into electricity, through the use of panels containing silicon, which is a semiconductor able to produce electricity when exposed to sunlight.

What are the advantages of photovoltaic?

Solar energy is available and exploitable forever, with no risk of running out of resources, which happens instead for non-renewable sources. It does not let CO2 emissions into the environment and does not produce any kind of pollution. Furthermore, it lasts for almost 30 years and most of its production materials are reusable.

Wind power

Wind energy is one of the most stable renewable sources to produce electricity. Research, development and technological innovations have allowed to produce the modern wind turbines, which today represent the second technology used worldwide to produce renewable energy.

A wind farm is a group of wind turbines using wind to produce energy.

  • on-shore, i.e. on the mainland. The wind farm must be located at least 3 km from the coast, in order to safeguard the coastal landscape;
  • near-shore, within 10 km from the mainland and less than 3 km from the coast and on flat areas. This kind of system is less widespread than the on-shore one;
  • off-shore, i.e. in open sea or lakes. In the open sea, in fact, the force of the wind reaches its peak as there are no natural/architectural barriers, so energy is generated with no interruptions.
But how does a wind farm work?

But how does it work? The kinetic energy of the wind, which triggers the rotation of the wind blades, is transformed into mechanical energy, which in turn is converted into electrical energy by the generator. Wind turbines are installed in strategic points based on the strength of the wind

What are the benefits?

Wind energy is obtained from the wind, an inexhaustible, widespread and economically convenient source. The development of wind farms is high and consequently they occupy a reduced portion of land, so as not to completely remove it from primary use. The lifespan of wind turbines is approximately 20-25 years, but almost all of the materials with which they are made are reusable: the environmental impact is also reduced with regards to the disposal of the structures and components that make up the wind turbine.
